About
Broadly, I am interested in examining the relationships between nutrition and neural/physiological bases of mood and behavior. At the moment, I am studying the effects of dietary creatine supplementation on depression-like behavior in rodents. Ongoing studies are investigating the effects of creatine in combination with varying doses and classes of antidepressant drugs. Additionally, I am exploring the nature of the sex-specific differences in depression-like behavior in response to creatine supplementation, which may be attributable to the hormonal or metabolic milieu.
